At Conser we can provide substantial improvement vs conventional technologies for C4 upgrading such as a patented off-gas recycling leading to unmet process performances. Starting from C4 stream, we can produce a plethora of molecules that have a wide variety of application: from biodegradable plastic production to the manufacturing of Li-ion batteries.

IIR and HIIR rubbers are super useful because they keep gases and liquids out, they have excellent mechanical properties in different temperatures, and elevated resilience to most chemicals. They’re big in making tires and used in adhesives, protective gear, and even medicine stuff like stoppers.
Butyl rubbers are valuable mainly due to the limited number of producers worldwide and the entry barriers for new potential producers and the relevant market is expected to reach a significative expansion with the growing demand from the tyre and inner tube industry.

To meet this demand, CONSER has developed own technologies to produce IIR and HIIR rubbers. The distinctive aspects of these technologies are the high-quality product and the reduced consumption of raw materials, chemicals and utilities.
We’re the only ones offering this tech worldwide without needing to own the plant or sell the product.
Our experience and research led us to offer two types of technology: Double Slurry System (DDS) and Polymer Direct Dissolution (PDD). PDD, in particular, simplifies the whole process, making it easier to control quality and cheaper to set up and run.

Epichlorohydrin (ECH) plays a pivotal role in the petrochemical industry, especially in making epoxy resins, which make up a significant chunk of the market. But its usefulness doesn’t stop there, and it’s also used in a wide range of other applications like textiles, inks, pharmaceuticals, agricultural products, liners, and more.

With over 40 years of expertise in ECH production, CONSER offers a cutting-edge process that prioritizes efficiency and a technologically advanced process, minimizing waste and utilities consumption, guaranteeing high-quality products. We’ve even developed a new, eco-friendly method called Epichlorohydrin Eco-Friendly (ECH-EF), which reduces waste, energy use, and costs.
While we’re committed to advancing this technology, we’re also exploring other options to keep up with market changes and environmental concerns. Our goal? To always offer the most effective and sustainable solutions for ECH field.

CONSER Duetto technology is a groundbreaking process design that facilitates the production of biodegradable plastics intermediates from maleic anhydride. This technology is part of a comprehensive package that includes licensing, process design, and technical assistance, along with the supply of a specialized hydrogenation catalyst. Duetto technology is distinguished by its ability to produce both butanediol (BDO) and dimethyl-succinate (DMS), which are essential intermediates for creating biodegradable polymers such as Polybutylene Succinate (PBS) and Polybutylene adipate terephthalate (PBAT).

The technology’s versatility allows for the production of these compounds from C 4 fractions like butane or from bio-derived succinic acid, offering a biobased alternative. The CONSER Duetto process is noted for its capital and operational expenditure savings, energy efficiency, and the capability to produce compostable materials starting from one feedstock. These attributes make it a valuable solution for industries seeking sustainable production methods, particularly in packaging and disposable tableware, as well as in the agricultural sector for mulch films and fishiry (fishing nets).
The adoption of CONSER Duetto technology aligns with global environmental protection efforts and the increasing demand for non-invasive and eco-friendly products. As regulations tighten and bans on non-biodegradable plastics become more prevalent, technologies like CONSER Duetto are poised to play a crucial role in the transition towards sustainable materials and the reduction of plastic waste accumulation.
